We have gotten another request on how to put glitter on live plants without killing them.
We carry a wonderful live plant glitter glue called Design Master Glue For Glitter.
For this project you will need:
- a live plant (though this works great on fake plants also)
- fine flakes work best as they are not as heavy. I chose Cosmetic Prism White Cloud, Cosmetic Iridescent Cloud Buster Clear, and Cosmetic Iridescent Dragon Scale Jade.
- Design Master Glue for Glitter
I did a light spray of the glue on to the whole plant. Keep the spray glue light! If you put it on too heavy the plant will not be able to breathe and you will see leaves dry rather quickly.
Note: Make sure to spray the aerosol can outside or in a well-ventilated area (preferably with an air purifier on) as aerosol cans are very noxious and can cause breathing issues.
I then sprinkled a bit of each of the cosmetic poly glitters onto the glued leaves.
I then added a light coat of the Design Master Glue For Glitter on top of the glittered plant.
The plant looks great, with the glitters melding wonderfully.
