We found a wonderful old glass candle holder for a video set. We started working on it with glitter and then realized you might enjoy taking a peek at what we were doing. We hope you give it a try!
Comments- If you let the candle burn down to the level of the glitter it would make a mess of the glitter, but it might not ever touch it due to the wax pool. This would be something you would want to test or simply use one of the new LED candles that never burn. If wax does hit your glitter it will stick nicely. It would allow you to simply pull the wax/glitter mess out and leave clean glitter behind- perhaps to use again or use in a different craft project as a mix. Changing color for the seasons could be a lot of fun!
Glitter Note- Worried about the flame and craft glitter combo? You might try using Polyester instead. It has a higher heat tolerance.
