Glitter For Candles
There are different ways that people are using glitter with candles. Some are mixing the glitter into the wax, some roll a warmed candle in glitter, and others are taking glue and applying glitter to the outside of the candle. For each of these methods, there are some things to think about. If you are mixing it into wax or roll a slightly warmed candle in glitter, then be sure to only use polyester glitter. This glitter has a heat resistance of 350 degrees. We do not recommend melting it, but we have never noticed any problems doing so. Be sure to run your own tests. If you do not plan to melt the candle (decoration only) then feel free to use any of our glitters. |
