 | You can use any of the glitters we offer to create effects and looks for video and film. However, there are a few things that might help you narrow down your selection a bit. If you are looking for large volumes of glitter that is inexpensive, you will want to look at Craft Glitter or Hybrid Glitter. If you need to make the glitter fall slowly and be easily blown with an effects fan or dropped like fairy dust, then craft glitter will be far too heavy. It tends to drop quickly. If you are looking for the fairy sparkle effect then moving over to Polyester and specifically, the Iridescent glitter line might be a good choice Note: Ultrafine flakes fall slowest & larger flakes catch more light. | ||

 | If you are involved with live effects such as on-stage glitter painting, glitter drops, outdoor events like color runs, parades etc there are a few options for you. Painters love our polyester ultra-fine metallics and holographic glitters. They travel nicely in the air, catch good light, and stick well to their adhesives. If you are doing a glitter drop on stage then experimenting is the name of the game. We would recommend you start with Polyester Iridescent glitters in various sizes. It is lightweight, catches the light nicely, looks good against a black background (one drawback is cleanup- it is clingy). Doing outdoor events? The best choice will be the Biodegradable Exhibitions line of glitters. | ||

 | With photography, you can use any of the glitters we sell. If you are going for a really large sparkle then bigger flakes will give you a bigger light bounce than the smaller flake sizes. The biggest reflection will come from Metallic and Holographic glitters. Craft glitters are heavy and will drop fast. If you are able to catch them with a fast shutter speed then you should be OK. If you need to shoot slow then you might want to choose a lighter weight polyester. | ||
