We are pleased to offer a variety of innovative biodegradable glitters. This particular glitter is one that we have had requests for from wedding parties, color runs, color wars, parades and any other time you want to throw glitter around outside. It is a stunning glitter made from a biodegradablelactide base film and it will break down over time. However, it holds together long enough to set in many glues, epoxy and even short lived in lotions (test first) and works very nicely for many direct to skin cosmetic usages, and glitter tattoos.
Product Details:
This glitter is sold by the pound with a 10lb minimum. It is sold by weight (not volume) and it is carefully measured for accuracy. This item is considered "custom" and comes in a variety of flake sizes (some we may have on the shelf and some we may have to make). When we have to make the glitter it can take a week for your order to ship. We are not able to offer same day shipping on this item due to processing time. It will come in a clear bag and then boxed.

The custom boxes must be ordered alone (OK to do multiple custom boxes in one order). We do not stock the custom boxes and the loose pounds & jars in the same location so they cannot be ordered together. If you are in a hurry, we highly recommend contacting us with your proposed custom box order. We can check stock and give you a shipping date estimate.
Applications List (test first):
*This glitter is considered to be Cosmetic Grade. What does this mean? It means that the FDA has certified that the pigments/ingredients used in this glitter are safe for skin. This particular color is also considered eye safe. The cosmetic grade information given here is based on the FDA's list of color additives permitted for use in cosmetics (which changes regularly). Please refer to their website for details. Our customers are responsible for proper usage in his/her particular application. We are not responsible for unsafe or improper usage. Putting anything (FDA approved or not) near the eyelids can result in eye irritation. Please be careful.
Limitations: Cosmetic Grade biodegradable glitter is made lightweight for easy application to the body. This lightweight quality is nice for cosmetics but, it is not suited for long term art usage and industrial applications (where you want your glitter to really hold up). It is meant for temporary usage and is meant to break down over time.
