In this video, we cover the basics of spraying glitter for accent coverage. We show you how iridescent glitter looks when sprayed over black. It makes it pop and sparkle like crazy! Take an old piece of furniture and give it new life with this DIY project.

When spraying solvent-based sealers, be sure to use solvent-resistant glitters. We sell a large selection of them in the "floors" section of our website.
For spraying we love to use the Ever Clear Solvent Urethane (gloss or super gloss). The glitter loves it and it is easy to learn how to use. It can also be brushed for those who do not want to work with a spray gun. You will not get as even coverage or as flat a surface, but it will still sparkle and be lovely.
HVLP Adventurous Beginner- If you have never sprayed and do not own a compressor, this is the unit we recommend. For under $125 you are ready to start learning how to spray. It comes with a 1.5 tip so you can spray Ultra Fine glitters (.008).
HVLP Semi-Pro to Pro- If you own a decent air compressor, then this is the gun we recommend. Mid-range in price and comes with the 1.5 tip that is great for Ultra Fine glitters (.008). Be sure to buy the one for use with solvents!
