Resin Decor Item Gets Glittered

In this video, Asia takes an outdoor resin decor item and glitters it using Outdoor Mod Podge. She uses a combination of craft glitter and polyester glitter. Many Polyester Glitters have a UV inhibitor so they tend to hold up under sun. However, Craft Glitter does not have those special coatings and will fade in the sun. If you do an outdoor item and want to use craft glitter, be sure to keep it under cover (like a patio) so no direct sunlight hits it. If you want it out in the sun in the garden and such- be sure to use the Usage Chart (below) when shopping. You will notice a column for UV/Sun.
