This fun kids craft project can also be enjoyed by adults. This glitter project is similar to the glitter bubble bottles I did, only on a much bigger scale.
I took a regular bubble stuff kit and added Ultra Fine polyester iridescent glitters to it. We found that craft glitter and polyester metallic glitters are too heavy and will break the bubbles as they form, so make sure to use the correct glitters to avoid disappointment.
Pour the bubbles into your the bubble reservoir (from your bubble kit, or make one from a skillet or pan from the kitchen). Add your iridescent glitter(s) to your bubbles and stir well. It is best to add just a little bit and test and a bit more and test. Too much glitter will make the bubble stuff heavy and the bubbles will not form and hold together.
Tip: As you dip your bubble wand move gently.
When sunlight hits the bubbles it is gorgeous and when the bubbles pop they will leave behind a touch of glitter. After a day of blowing bubbles, it will look like fairies had a party!
