All Glitter Projects
This Halloween we decided to decorate the front yard of the CPG Studios. We thought it would be fun to set up a glittered graveyard for the local kids to enjoy. Every inch of the decorations was glittered, and it was great fun both day and night.
Comments:
Glittering Styrofoam can be challenging when it is raw and unsealed. If you are in that situation you might consider painting it yourself with a thin base coat of paint. It will make it so much easier to deal with. If you do not have time, you can brush Mod Podge Gloss or Mod Podge Outdoor straight onto Styrofoam. It is water-based and does not melt it. If you are in a big hurry and prefer spray glue there is one brand that works with Styrofoam brand foam- Design Master Glue for Glitter. I am always hesitant to mention this because not everyone knows if the foam in front of them is that brand or not. Be sure to test! Final Notes: Craft vs Poly It comes down to sun and rain. Lots of sun, rain, and dramatic weather over some weeks? Use Polyester Glitter (use the Usage Chart please). Mild outdoor exposure or indoor use only- Use Craft or Polyester Glitters.
