Covering an outdoor sculpture with glitter is a great project. We recently were asked to do one for a charity raffle and we jumped right in.

Comments:
For this sculpture, we used Outdoor Mod Podge. This is not a super high-quality adhesive/sealer, but it is water-based and has no odor. Generally, we do our outdoor pieces in warmer weather so we can use solvent based adhesives and sealers. This project came to us in the Winter when it was pouring rain and we needed something that would not require a respirator. This glue requires a longer dry time than traditional Mod Podges. Usually we would want to seal the piece with a solvent sealer- but again we could not due to the rain. We managed to Glitter Blast it a few times between rain showers. That should hold it for a bit and the glitter itself has UV resistance (use polyester glitters that show UV resistance). Consider this a fast and inexpensive way to do an outdoor sculpture.
