Thinking about doing a glitter wall? Wonderful! Now you need to decide which method/look you are after.
Type of glitter- We used craft glitter in this video because this was a demo wall that was going to be thrown out. For a real wall craft glitter can be used BUT it can fade in sunlight. If you have windows/doors that are pouring light onto your wall, you will be happier with a polyester glitter that has a UV inhibitor coating.
Comments:
Mixing Mod Podge Gloss with glitter and applying it to a wall is slow going but the final result is dramatic. As stated in this video- this is a rather permanent application method and can destroy your wall if you choose to remove it. We used 2 flake sizes for added interest but using a single flake is more normal. There is no need to seal coat this method and it should not be done. Over sealing glitter will reduce the sparkle!
