Tips and Tricks
Sorry friends- our glitters really don't work in grout. Take a peek at the video to see if this is the look you are after. Probably not...
Comments:
While the glitter does not work well mixed into grout, it can be pressed into wet grout after it has been put around the tiles. You can press it in and then when the grout is dry, you can carefully seal just the cracks. This will trap the glitter. You can then do a normal seal coat(s) over the tiles and grout. Note: If you do not do the first seal over just the grout/glitter, you may find flakes of glitter moving off the grout and onto the tiles as you sponge or brush. Use polyester glitters only!
The other option is not to press the glitter into the grout. You can simply mix it into the sealer and then brush it onto the cracks. Do a few coats until you have achieved the look you want. Let it dry and then do your all over seal coats over the cracks and tiles.
Note: There is supposedly a brand of grout made in England that has glitter mixed in. We have never seen it, but you might want to check it out. You can also use an epoxy based grout successfully.

Final Note: Please be careful if you see comments telling you to sand to make it work. Colored glitters will turn silver if you sand them. It just takes the color right off the flake.
