This video shows an epoxy floor being installed over a plastic pan shower base. It is fairly easy to do and the results are stunning! Skill level: Intermediate

Comments:
Be sure to have the shower base extremely clean and also free of cleaning agents. Dirt makes for lumps and cleaning agents can act as a resist. Be sure to allow at least three days before using the shower and re-caulking after glittering. Make sure that you do not alter the slope of your shower with the epoxy. You want your shower to drain normally so that water does not stand on the epoxy on a permanent basis. Most epoxy is water resistant but is not meant to handle permanent submersion.

There are many brands of Epoxy that you can use for floors. This one is made for bar tops (and related). We have also used it for very small flooring jobs and floor accents successfully.
